This Season

June 23, 2021August 2, 2022 Post a comment

Happy Summer, all!  If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know that after some time thinking, I’ve decided to hang up my hat on The Calming Corner.

I have had the best time conversing with all of you and sharing my love of this career.  In fact, I still love it just as much as always.  However, as I enter my 10th year of School Psychology, my priorities keep shifting.

I very much believe in “seasons” of life, and this season that I am entering needs to be all about my family.  Since I started blogging in 2014, I’ve had 3 amazing kids, and as much as I like engaging with you all, it’s time away from my little ones.  I realized after spending so much time on screens this year that I just need to step away and take this time that I am spending on TCC and make it count elsewhere.

When I started this page, there were very few School Psychs on social media, and now there are some amazing ones!  It’s their turn to share all they know.  Maybe one day I’ll be back, who knows.  But for now, thank you all for the wonderful support.   I have loved engaging with each and every one of you.

With thanks,

Melissa
