This little tool is one that I use CONSTANTLY throughout the school year, and one you all message me about all the time!

So, we write reports all the time, right?  But will so many different testing measures, it’s pretty impossible (for me, anyway) to remember what a standard score of 88 means on the WISC-V versus the NEPSY-II.  That’s where this time saving tool comes in.

Basically, you create a sheet with every score descriptor you have.  Laminate it (preferably with your own personal one so that it’s thick and sturdy), and keep it somewhere that is easily accessible.  I punch a hole in mind and hang it from a binder ring near my desk.  I try to keep it to 2 pages and laminate it front and back.  I also keep this chart with it for those lovely assessments that don’t come with their own descriptors.

So, what are you waiting for?  You probably already have these charts in your reports somewhere.  Get it done!

    Hi,
If you are able/willing could you PLEASE email me a copy of your “score descriptor cheat sheet”? It would be so beneficial for me to have as this is my school psych intern year in a public school district! Thank you!
