10 gifts for a School Psychologist

I used to be one of those people that had all of their holiday shopping done before December.  Then I had two children, and now, I don’t order anything that isn’t delivered by Amazon.  But, that doesn’t stop me from thinking about all the great ideal gifts I could get if I did my shopping now instead of two weeks from now.

Here are my suggestions on what to gift your favorite School Psychologist this year.  Pass these along to your coworkers and significant others.  🙂

gifts for a school psychologist

  1.  The Daily Mood is the perfect desk accessory for the school psychologist.  I often hand it off to my coworkers who are having off days or one of those days they don’t want to be bothered by other people. It gets a laugh.
  2. Show me the data Mug:  I need this for all meetings.  How great would that be?
  3. IEP Prep and Recovery glasses:  I gifted similar ones of these to a couple coworkers a few years ago.
  4. A great coffee mug:  Enough said.
  5. Table Topics Cards:  I might be the only one who gets the urge to conduct lunch bunch topic conversations around the dinner table, but in case I’m not, these are so much fun!
  6. Dammit Doll:  Stress relief for adults.
  7. A wooden Labyrinth maze:  Another great calming tool for adults
  8. Freudian slip mug: A gag gift for your favorite school psych.
  9. I read Writing Useful Accessible and Legally Defensible Psychoeducational Reports this summer and it was great and provided me with some concrete takeaways that were easy to implement.
  10. Feedback That Sticks:  This is on my holiday wish list-I wonder if anyone I know actually reads this blog 🙂

So tell me, what else do I need to add to my holiday School Psych wish list???
